Anatomy of a Call

Call Types:

• Call
  • a call between 2 parties that successfully connected, and the 2 parties converse
  • a call can have up to 2 recipients.
  • a call has no recorded voice message

• Missed Call
  • a call that is disconnected before the recipient responds. eg: a user calls a friend but disconnects before the friend answers
  • a missed call has only 1 recipient
  • a missed call has no recorded voice message

• Voicemail
  • a call that is not answered by the recipient and is forwarded to a voicemail.
  • a voicemail has only 1 recipient
  • a voicemail has a recorded message
  • a voicemail has no text note with the recorded message

• VoiceBlast
  • a recorded voice message sent to multiple recipients.
  • a voiceblast has1 or many recipients with a maximum of 40
  • a voiceblast has a recorded voice message
  • a voiceblast has an optional text note with the recorded message

Call User Types:

• User  : a user that is registered in the Telephone system
• PSTN : a phone number
• Email : an email address
